Miss Dena and I recently entertained at the Barn of Barrington for their annual Easter Sunday brunch. Here’s a photo of the large-scale Easter Bunny (over four feet tall!) that I created as a lobby sculpture for the brunch patrons to enjoy.

Sadly, during the course of the festivities I learned that the Barn of Barrington is slated to close this summer. Apparently the building needs quite a bit of repairs and renovations (it’s over a hundred years old!) and the cost of these repairs is just not feasible to undertake.

We’ll be entertaining at the Mother’s Day brunch at the Barn from 11:30 am to 5:30 pm coming up on May 10th, so we look forward to seeing old and new friends before this historic venue closes its doors!
