Mousetrap Machine Science Assembly on WGN-TV Morning News!

Before Smarty Pants became Chicago’s #1 balloon artist, he was a professional geologist, receiving his degree from Columbia University of New York City. Years later, Smarty Pants combines his passions for science and innovative balloon constructions with the Mousetrap Machine Show. This science assembly teaches elementary school students how simple machines work – it’s the only science show in Illinois that ties directly into the state curriculum!

We perform the science assembly in over 100 schools every year, in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan and Wisconsin. To promote awareness of our science assembly, Smarty Pants and the Lovely Miss Dena recently appeared on WGN-TV’s televised back to school event. We performed just a small bit from the assembly, but I can say it was certainly an “egg-cellent” experience!
